eFish assists tangata kaitiaki & Iwi to manage rohe moana by transferring customary authorisations into the online system. Authorisations are uploaded and reports can be accessed and downloaded at any time from any internet connected computer with your unique login and password that is allocated to your own secured Iwi or regional database. eFish will setup a secured system to ensure your information and data can only be accessed by those you authorise to do so. The information and data can be quickly retrieved and displayed presenting to you the results based on your search queries.

eFish can be accessed anywhere around the country through internet connection. This means that information can be loaded onto the system and retrieved from home, the beach or the boat.

This is where the real power of eFish comes into play. Unlike a paper-based system the information is entered once and can be quickly and easily retrieved. And unlike the current model which is really about data capture, eFish has the capability to produce a range of reports which can compare different geographical areas or to make comparisons between different years.
